2 Timothy 3:16: All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Without the Bible and without Biblical pastors and teachers we will not have God’s correction or His instruction in righteousness. Satan is the source of any and all instruction that does not come from the Bible and coincide with it. There are only two fundamental sources of instruction, God or Satan. Where are you getting your instructions?

Matthew 4:4: But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

We need every word that comes from God. With only some of His words we will live wrong and incomplete lives.

Psalms 119:11: Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

Neglecting to hide the Bible in our hearts is a gross sin that will cause multitudes of other sins.

Acts 17:11: These (Bereans) were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

Noble definitions: well born, high in rank, generous, etc. Without searching the scriptures and meditating on them daily we will not be noble Christians doing what God wants us to do. We should be delighted to study the Bible and frightened not to.

Job 5:17: Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth: therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty:

Psalms 1:1: Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. 4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. 5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. 6 For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
